So it's my first weekend since I started this hardcore diet plan. I have to say, it's definitely hardcore. Being busy at work all week makes it easy to forget about food but being home on the weekend it a different story. So far this week I've lost 3 lbs. My goal was to lose 10 lbs by Monday morning but I don't see that happening. The plan is to hit the gym today and tomorrow and do some serious cardio. I think the best I can hope for at this point is to lose 6 or 7 lbs total for the week. Obviously a 6 to 7 lbs weight loss in a week is pretty good but I know I can lose more than that.
I'm sitting here writing this blog, drinking a Muscle Milk protein shake and watching "Rounders". Wife gets home at 3 pm and then we're making our way to the gym. It's going to take some serious will power to not slip up on eating bad food this weekend but I'm up for the challenge.
